Steam generator iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have changed from a standard Russell Hobbs iron, this is my first steam generating iron. 1, better than any iron I've ever used 2, quick and the steam is very powerful! 3, become the Aldi checkout in the world of ironing! Let me tell you, this will cut your ironing down in the half the time! I always thought I was rubbish at ironing but it was my iron that made my life hard! The steam is so powerful and quick, I feel like I'm working at a checkout in Aldi I'm ironing that quick haha. One of the best things with this product I found was my satin/silk dresses. I have a few of these for the girlies nights out and I've ruined so many with my standard iron. I normally get some cotton or a towel and iron over that to stop my dress from being ruined so I did that first and thought RISK IT, DO IT. I set the setting to silk, closed my eyes (don't do that) and then started ironing. IT WORKED LIKE A DREAM!! I'm absolutely buzzing with this iron and if you are wondering whether to invest into this iron from a standard one then do it! You will not regret it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An excellent lightweight steam generator iron, which makes ironing much more effortless. The iron is compact and fits in nicely on ironing boards. The steam flow is perfect and consistent. You need to hold the steam button for continuous steam, which might be an issue for some. The wire supplying water to the iron does get in the way a bit but not much of an issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This steam generator is highly recommended. Seams heavy to start with but when you pick up the actual iron it’s so light yet gets the job done in no time at all. Definitely the best iron I have ever used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically use a traditional hand held iron to do multiple loads of ironing a week, while using this product I dramatically reduced the time taken on these loads! It is easy to use and rather slimline for a traditionally bulky product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really impressed with this steam generator iron. It is easy to use, lightweight and compact. The smart calc clean reminds me when it needs to be descaled which is brilliant. The powerful continuous steam is amazing for getting out creases and the large water tank means I can iron large loads of laundry without having to stop and refill. Love it! Would definitely recommend.

The iron heats up quite quickly, the amount of steam created is just right and it feels quite comfortable to use it. I really like the calc-clean container for descaling which prevents scaling from building up and keeps your iron very clean all the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this via Philips to test and review..I’m not the biggest fan of ironing so anything to make my life easier is a welcome blessing. On opening the box I noticed the sleek design and it felt a great sturdy weight. The instructions are clear and filling up the water tank in the steam generator was simple. It fits well on my ironing board and I like the fact it bleeps when up to temperature (yes it’s the littlest things) It glided easy and effortlessly over my clothes making it light work and easy to use. The steam function is easy to use and is great for removing stubborn creases. I do use ironing water as I’m in a hard water area although it does have an automatic cleaner and descale which is handy to have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chosen to give this iron a 5 star rating as its the best iron I used you don't put water in the iron it goes into the base it don't take long to warm the iron is great you don't need to keep ironing you clothes I highly recommend this product to everyone I also wanted to let people know its got a auto clean with a separate tank and when the iron needs a clean its gives a indication to when you need to do this overall this iron is easy and great to use no messing around with water no need to keep filling the tank as it don't use alot of water at all even holding the steam button in

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave a 5* review as it’s great glides smooth over clothes and leaves them all straightened and makes ironing almost effortless. It took me less time to get through my basket of ironing. I tried all kinds from vinyl transfer,bedding ,shirts , dress , towels flannel pjs stuff I don’t iron to full test it and I boy was I impressed . I like the product as it’s made to a high quality it feels very sturdy and easy to manoeuvre . I love the safety feature if leave 5 mins it turn off it bleep first. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!.
