I love making breakfast using this appliance. It is super quick to use & really easy to clean. I was able to make a few breakfast sandwhiches in under 10 mins. Afterwards, I only needed a couple of minutes to clean it beacuse the plates are removable & non stick.

I also was so happy when I saw that the waffle batter does not fall from the sides when I poured them in the sandwich maker. In addition to that, it heats up quickly, and each sandwich takes just a couple of minutes to become perfectly crispy. The indicator lights are very helpful in letting me know when it's ready to use. I am not sure, but I might have felt that the heating is not perfectly even, as the lower side heats a little more than the upper side.

So we all have the occasional craving for waffles, paninis and sealed grilled cheese sandwhiches, but if you're limited with space in your kitchen you'd want to prioritize. This amazing product is a problem solver! I actually got a 3 in 1 maker that allows be to switch plates depending on what I'm in the mood for. And guess, what? The end result comes out amazing, it doesn't over cook or under cook and it comes out perfect! My mom swears by it! I would suggest that they add the option of purchasing more plates to cook eggs, pancakes etc because then the versatility would increase and would replace many more items in the kitchen.

I tested the Philips sandwich maker for 3 days, my wife prepared different combinations for the kids, and also made them waffles. There are many features that i like, but on top of them is the non-stick plates! they are amazing, even when melted cheese is spilled it never sticks. Basically, it didn't need any cleaning while preparing the sandwiches. The heating is extremely fast, it is around 2-3 minutes then every sandwich wouldn't take more than 2 minutes to be crispy. A feature my wife liked is the sealing on the ingredients when using the sandwich plates. We tested a few times with the waffle plate to know the correct amount of batter to add, and we always got the same brownish non-stick waffle!. A feature we liked the most is having the on-off button, so we are keeping it connected, and our kids are doing their own sandwiches without worrying about having them connect the power. a final observation about the premium finishing, we are happy to keep it on the counter instead of storing it:)
